WHAT.HAPPENS.NOW?

What.happens.now? is a combination of the questions "What is happening now?" and "What happens next?", and is for this reason the name of the 9-month-long study I am undertaking today focused on post-industrial transition.

The world - and chiefly among it, first world countries - seems to me, to be moving away from a purely industrial model, aimed mainly at production, to a new type of society which contours and goals have yet to be clearly defined.

Below you will find three videos, where I explain the premise with which I set off on this voyage of learning, the reasons that have driven me to take a sabbatical and travel the world to study this subject, and the "curriculum" I plan to follow.

Though this study is self-designed and not affiliated to any University, it has been recognised for its novelty and importance by the Centre for Research and Interdisciplinarity, in Paris and a partnership was struck between this Institution and myself. You will find more information at the end of the Supervisors section of the website.

If you are interested in contacting me or supporting the study, please do.

If you have already spent time asking yourself some or all these questions, with or without coming to answers, I hope you will follow me on my journey and join my virtual "classroom" where I will share the interviews I will conduct during the year, reading materials and hopefully, the occasional insight. Together, we will find some answers and meaning in this fascinating period of Human History.

The map below is an idea of my travel plan. Dates and more specific locations will be added gradually.
